The Samsung Galaxy Fit has now been announced alongside the smaller, lower-end Galaxy Fit E.
It doesn't look like this is set to be the samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro equel we had all expected though. Both are far cheaper devices with less premium looking designs than Samsung's last fitness tracker.
