Extra-slow curing hardener for warm conditions - WEST SYSTEM 209 Extra Slow Hardener is a low-viscosity epoxy curing agent designed for bonding and coating applications in extremely warm or humid environments where extended working time is needed. , Designed for use with WEST SYSTEM 105 Epoxy Resin - Mix at a 3:1 ratio with 105 Epoxy Resin to create a high-strength epoxy system that cures to a clear amber, moisture-resistant solid suitable for bonding and coating applications. , Extended working time for complex repairs - Provides roughly twice the working time of 206 Slow Hardener, with a pot life of about 40-50 minutes at 72F and approximately 3-4 hours of working time in a thin film. , Gradual cure with strong final properties - The epoxy mixture cures to a solid state in about 20-24 hours at 72F and develops maximum strength over several days, allowing careful bonding and coating work. , Compatible with fillers and additives - The cured epoxy can be modified with WEST SYSTEM fillers, pigments, and additives for coating, fiberglass work, structural bonding, or fairing, though 209 is not intended for clear coating applications.
