- In the Free mode, the robot is free to move anywhere in space, either on its own mat or on any clean and flat surface. By playing without the mat, the child can command the robot through the keypad located on its head and have fun observing its movements.
- "Edu mode, it is DOC who decides where to go and the targets it must reach on Mat 1, to test your programming abilities through the sequences. Place DOC on Start and press OK to confirm. DOC will then ask to reach a series of three targets.

يُعدّ روبوت "دوك" التعليمي الناطق من "يونغ ليرنرز" مصممًا لمساعدة أطفال ما قبل المدرسة على تعلّم البرمجة المرئية والبرمجة باستخدام الكتل البرمجية. يُعرّف "دوك" الطفل على عالم الروبوتات التعليمية بطريقة بسيطة وسلسة، من خلال تجربة أوضاع لعب متعددة بمستويات صعوبة متدرجة. كما يُساعد على تنمية التفكير المنطقي والذكاء المكاني ومهارات الحساب، عبر العدّ وتحديد كيفية تحريك "دوك" للوصول إلى أهداف مختلفة موزعة على شبكة الحصائر المرفقة في العبوة.
