RELIABLE POWER - This powered taillight converter changes a 3-wire vehicle lighting system to standard 2-wire trailer lighting and requires a direct fused connection to the vehicle battery for reliable trailer-light power. , STANDARD OUTPUT - Provides an attached 4-way flat trailer connector for tail lights, brake lights and turn signals; test each output after installation before towing. , COLOR-CODED WIRES - Color-coded splice-in wiring helps identify left turn, right turn, brake and tail-light inputs. The converter is rated for 3. 0 amps per turn/brake circuit and 5. 0 amps per tail-light circuit. , READY TO INSTALL - Package includes the powered converter, wiring kit #55151, snap locks and required battery-connection components. Kit #55151 includes 20' of 12-gauge power wire, 10A fuse and holder, ring terminal, butt connector and cable ties. , WEATHER-RESISTANT - Includes a rubber dust cover for the 4-way flat connector; mount the converter in a protected location away from road spray and debris and verify all trailer-light functions after installation.
