Wel-Pac Shelled Edamame Fresh Frozen Soybeans 454g

Bring 2 quarts water to a boil in a large pot. Add desired amount of frozen wel-pac shelled edamame soybeans. Return to a boil. Cook 5 minutes. Drain. Rinse with cold water to cool; drain well. Enjoy as a snack or add to salads, soups and stir-fry combinations, as desired. If serving wel-pac shelled edamame as a hot, side dish, do not rinse with cold water after cooking. Green soybean vegetable stir-fry. 1-1/2 cups wel-pac shelled edamame soybeans (frozen), 1 tablespoon kikkoman soy sauce, 1 teaspoon cornstarch, 1/8 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon vegetable oil, 1 medium onion, cut into thin wedges, 1 medium carrot, thinly sliced on diagonal, 1 large stalk celery, thinly sliced on diagonal, 1 small crockneck squash (1/4lb.) cut crosswise into 1/4 inch pieces, 1 clove garlic, minced, 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root. Cook edamame as package directs. Drain; rinse with cold water and drain well. Combine soy sauce, cornstarch, 3 tablespoons water and pepper; stir until cornstarch dissolves. Set aside. Heat large frying pan, preferably nonstick, over high heat. Add oil, coat inside bottom of pan. Add onion, celery, carrot, squash, garlic and ginger; stir-fry 3 minutes. Add edamame and soy sauce mixture. Cook and stir 1 minute, or until all is heated through. Makes 4 servings, about 1 cup each.
