Sponge cake: 250g butter , 250g sugar, 1 packet vanilla sugar , 5 eggs , a pinch of grated lemon zest , 350g schar farina flour , 10g baking powder. Preparation: mix the butter , sugar and vanilla sugar into a paste. Slowly mix in the eggs, add the grated lemon zest . Mix and slowly fold in the flour and baking powder. Place the mixture in a springform pan and bake for about 45 minutes at 180°C. If you wish you can darken the mixture by adding a little milk and cocoa powder.
