Pitsco EZ Start Raceway

The Pitsco 33135 EZ Start Raceway provides start and finish gates for launching and racing carbon-dioxide (CO2) dragsters for students in grades 6-12 studying the scientific concepts of aerodynamics, motion, drag, and friction. This package includes the EZ Start Gate, the EZ Finish Gate, line anchors, monofilament line, detectors, and a power adapter for easily launching dragsters and recording race times. The finish gate detects dragsters as they pass through the gate and indicates the winner with a blinking light. Both the start and finish gates are constructed of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) for durability and longevity of use. The EZ Start Raceway can be set up on the floor or on the Pitsco 37989 FasTrak Elevated Racetrack (sold separately). A race system is typically used in an educational setting to record race times of CO2 and other model racing vehicles.

Floor racing requires duct tape and deceleration towels (sold separately).
