The XGIMI HORIZON Ultra is decent for watching movies. It's quite bright with spectacular brightness uniformity, so it looks great even in rooms with a few lights. Unfortunately, its contrast is subpar, so it doesn't look as good in dark rooms due to it projecting noticeably raised blacks.
