LUKAS Stand Oil 1L

LUKAS Linseed Stand Oil is a thickened, viscous, yellowish medium produced by heating linseed oil. It dries more slowly than standard linseed oil but forms a stronger, more elastic film that is less sensitive to moisture. This medium enhances the gloss and translucency of oil colours and can be used both as a binder and in the creation of resin-based mediums. Due to its slight tint, it is not recommended for use with whites or pale colours. The need for a painting medium depends largely on the chosen technique, as modifying the paint will influence consistency, opacity, drying time, sheen, and durability.
