DAP DryDex Wall Repair Patch Kit comes with all of the tools needed to complete a wall-patching project.This kit may be used to repair holes up to 3 inches in diameter in drywall, plaster, or masonry surfaces.DRYDEX Spackle provides a unique dry-time indicator that indicates when the patched surface is ready to be sanded and painted.Made in the U.S.Make sure the area to be repaired is clean, dry, firm and free of any loose debris or materials.- Using enclosed putty knife, apply the DRYDex Spackling to the back of the patch.If necessary, this patch can be cut with a regular pair of scissors to fit smaller holes or cracks.Press the patch against the surface to be repaired.Press firmly around the outer edges of the patch to ensure a strong bond.- Using the enclosed putty knife, spread the DRYDex Spackling over the patch and adjacent area.Make sure to feather edge the patch.- Spackling Compound will change color from pink to white when the surface is ready to be sanded & painted.- Once spackling compound is completely dry, use the enclosed sandpaper and sand the patched area to a smooth finish.- Apply a second finishing coat if necessary following the instructions above.- Paint the patched surface as desired.'
