Solid FHD projector. The Xgimi Horizon is well-suited for most home theaters. The projector puts out a bright image, and its speakers are loud and clear. However, there are some shortcomings that bring its US$1100 price tag into question.

The XGIMI Horizon shares a lot of the internals with its 4K capable Pro sibling, as such you get the same weight, size, controls OS and shape. To the end user, that means a cube design that is compact and well built with excellent sounding speakers.

The XGIMI HORIZON projector is alright for watching movies. It has decent peak brightness with passable contrast, so it performs adequately in a variety of contexts. Unfortunately, this projector's pre-calibration accuracy is poor.

A bright image and Android TV streaming built in make Xgimi's Horizon a solid projector replacement for a 1080p TV in a family room. Its additional features are helpful for backyard movie night, too.
