If you’re in the market for a sensational pair of Bluetooth headphones, with incredible noise cancellation technology, you should put the Sony WH-1000XM4 on your list. This is an amazing pair of headphones that really does live up to the hype that Sony has created.

The XM3s represented, at the time of their introduction, the pinnacle of noise-cancelling headphones, but the field has moved on, with Bose coming back into the fray with its al-new NC700s and Bowers & Wilkins with the PX7s.

Sony has been making noise-canceling headphones for years, and it's gotten pretty good at it. We had very few complaints about Sony's WH-1000XM3 headphones , so there wasn't much to fix in the latest iteration.

There is still no one overtaking the Sony WH-1000XM4 on noise reduction. But we hope they will soon upgrade to even better sound.

Sony has made the best even better. You won’t find a more feature-packed set of headphones right now, and it’s unlikely you will until Sony updates these again.
