I have used Citizen, Epson, HP and Canon printers over the last 40 years or so... and decided on buying a Brother recommended by a friend.. Brother printers in general are provided with higher specification than others at the same price range (ADF, Automatic duplex printing, etc). From setting up to using the printer, I could tell that the build quality of Brother are not as good as the others... quite bad for some of the parts... e.g. the paper loader never slides in or out smoothly...parts are very thinly built and break easily. Once started printing, I realised that the print in both text and graphics are also not as good as all the previous printer brands I have used... Overall a very disappointing buy from a reputable brand...
