The Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 NC are very good for commuting and travel. Their ANC system does a great job of isolating you from the deep rumble of plane engines and ambient noise from chatty passengers.

The Soundcore Liberty 4 that I reviewed leaned more toward the high-end headphones segment than what the manufacturer offers normally. For $150 a pop, we have active noise cancellation (ANC), LDAC audio codec, wireless charging support, and a very complete companion app.

Cards on the table: the Soundcore Liberty 4 are not the MVP in our book. But they had more than enough going for them to be in that conversation between their exceptional sound, comfortable design, and solid lineup of features for just $150.

The younger sister of the Soundcore Liberty 4 is available in black, blue, light blue, pink and white and, thanks to a water-resistant finish in accordance with IPX4, they are both suitable for sporting activities and protected in a rain shower.

Anker’s audio sub-brand, Soundcore, has quickly become one of my favorites. Each year the company pumps out multiple wireless devices that are worth a look if you’re shopping for that market.

The Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 are great for sports and fitness. They have a comfortable and well-built fit that's certified IPX4 for resistance against splashes of water. They also have a built-in heart-rate monitor and you can use the app to track it.
