The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is wellicht één van de minst geliefde Zelda-games. Het is een kind van een tijd waarin de motion control-gimmick net iets te serieus werd genomen. Dat en het zicht van Link die rondvliegt op een kleurrijke vogel werd niet door iedereen geapprecieerd.
