Pokeball Plus (Nintendo Switch)

The Poke Ball Plus is the newest Pokemon accessory that works with the new Pokemon Let's Go games. The only things included in the box are of course the pokeball and a charging cable.It has a soft, curved finish as you'd expect and isn't too heavy or too light to hold, giving it a nice weight. It also comes with an adjustable wrist strap, which is a nice way to stop children throwing it right into the TV screen. Seeing as the game in docked mode is controlled with a singular joy-con, they've mapped most of the functionality to this pokeball pretty well. The top of the pokeball is the B button, A button needs a click of the thumbstick and Y is a shake motion. There's no doubt that catching Pokemon is a little more engaging with the Poke Ball Plus. Any Pokemon that shakes in the ball during a catch attempt will make the controller vibrate, and the cry attached to that specific Pokemon will shriek from the pokeball if you're successful. It will also sound out battle effects as they occur, and it will play the Pokemon centre healing sound effect when you initially charge it. It can also work as a companion piece for the mobile game Pokemon Go. And as a bonus you get the legendary Pokemon Mew. As of writing, Mew is exclusive to this device and cannot be acquired through any other means. This may change in the future through planned distributions. You also need the internet too, as it connects to the internet to confirm your Mew.
