The perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena has received several international perfume awards for his creations. The original, on which this perfume is based, is earthier, deeper, and has a distinctly more dominant vetiver note and more pepper. The Eau Intense Vétiver was developed in 2018 by Christine Nagel.
