Islamic Identity

This book addresses the question of Islamic identity, which represents the true essence of a Muslim as it should be. It is a human identity connected to the innate human nature with which all people are born, encompassing a set of moral values and ideals, and reflecting the attributes of God Almighty. It is also a moral identity, expressing the ethical values inherent within a person, imprinted internally and not acquired externally. Modern man suffers from an identity crisis that impacts both his intellectual work and his practical behavior. It also affects his self-awareness and his awareness of others. Undoubtedly, this awareness defines a person’s relationship with himself, with his fellow human beings, and with other creatures. Modern theories have attempted to address this crisis.
