Different blends of tea require different temperatures. Smeg's KLF04 variable temperature kettle allows you to choose from a number of temperature settings between 50°C to 100°C to customise the water temperature, depending on your favourite tea - green, fruit or oolong for example.

The kettle can slot onto the base in any position. The base has non-slip feet and a safety system that, in the absence of water, interrupts the operation of the unit. The 1.7 litre jug capacity has a water gauge that shows in litres and cups!

An acoustic alarm activates when switching on/off, at the beginning of a cycle and at the end of cycle with option to silence this feature. The kettle has an in-built stainless steel filter which filters out natural limescale. It's removable for cleaning too.
