Avogain 5% Topical Solution contains active ingredient Minoxidil. This is a cutaneous solution to be applied to the scalp for hereditary hair loss treatment which prevents further hair loss and regrows hair. Minoxidil is an antihypertensive that acts predominantly by causing direct peripheral vasodilatation of the arterioles. When applied topically to the scalp, Minoxidil may stimulate hair growth to a limited extent and is used in the treatment of alopecia.
