Toughened epoxy resin and hardener system WEST SYSTEM Gflex 655 is a thickened twopart epoxy resin kit thats Made in the USA and designed for permanent waterproof structural bonding where durability and controlled flexibility are required Excellent adhesion to difficult materials WEST SYSTEM epoxy bonds tenaciously to fiberglass metals ceramics many plastics and hardtobond woods including tropical and domestic hardwood species Flexible strength with defined stiffness More flexible than standard epoxy resins or polyester yet stiffer than adhesive sealants Gflex forms structural bonds with a modulus of elasticity of 150000 PSI to absorb shock and vibration 11 mix ratio with extended working time Mixed 11 by volume this epoxy resin and hardener provides 46 minutes pot life at 72F and 60 to 75 minutes open working time for alignment and assembly Reliable cure in marine and cold conditions Initial cure in 3 to 4 hours workable cure in 7 to 10 hours and full cure in 24 hours Suitable for marine epoxy repairs cold weather epoxy use and bonding damp or wet surfaces.
