Free from phosphate, nitrate and surface contaminants, it is clean, safe and ready to use in marine and freshwater aquaria. The main component is calcium carbonate, which naturally buffers and stabilises pH in seawater, making it ideal for reef, marine and hard-water setups such as African cichlid tanks.
