Specialist Crafts Essential Short Handled Flat Hog Brush Bulk Pack of 45

Short handled flat hog bristle brushes ideal for use with thick acrylic and oil paint, as well as any other general painting work where brush strokes are desired for a painterly finish. The stiff nature of hog hair allows it to push and manipulate thicker paints easily. These good quality, low cost brushes are well suited to the artist on a budget, offering more brush for your money! The short, sustainable birch wood handles are coated with a clear lacquer for comfort and protection. The anti-rust ferrules are seamless and tightly fitted to ensure minimal bristle loss. Flat brushes are best suited for filling in large areas, creating bold, wide strokes, and blending and mixing colours. An ideal set to ensure you will always have a clean brush to hand! This set of 45 flat brushes contains five each of sizes 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18.
