Description
AWAFI MILL Agarwood Chips are small cut pieces of aromatic wood traditionally known as Oud, Oudh or Agarwood.
When gently heated, the chips release a rich and layered incense fragrance combining warm wood, resinous depth, soft balsamic sweetness, subtle earthiness, light spice and refined smoky notes.
Agarwood is the fragrant resin-bearing wood formed in certain trees belonging principally to the Aquilaria and Gyrinops genera. Its complex fragrance is associated with aromatic compounds including sesquiterpenes and chromone derivatives.
The chip format is convenient for controlled use. One or two pieces may be used for a lighter fragrance, while additional chips can be added gradually for a fuller Oud aroma.
Agarwood Chips are suitable for traditional charcoal mabkhara burners, temperature-controlled electric incense burners, home fragrance, majlis areas, entrances, prayer rooms and custom wood-and-resin incense blends.
Because agarwood is a naturally variable aromatic material, the fragrance, colour and resinous character may differ between individual pieces.
