Otrivine Dual Relief Nasal Spray is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of nasal congestion and rhinorrhoea associated with the common cold in adults 18 years and older. It is a combination medicinal product consisting of two different active ingredients: xylometazoline hydrochloride and ipratropium bromide. Ipratropium bromide reduces nasal mucus secretion with fast acting effect usually obtained within 15 minutes and lasting for an average of 6 hours. Xylometazoline hydrochloride reduces nasal mucosal swelling giving it a fast acting decongestant effect.
