Solomax 1.5 mg/mL Syrup 120 mL contains Butamirate which is a non-narcotic antitussive which presents nonspecific anticholinergic and antispasmodic effect, facilitating respiration. It acts centrally by diminishing the tussigenic reflex, and peripherally via a broncho spasmolytic activity enhanced by an anti-inflammatory action. Butamirate (or brospamin) is a cough suppressant medicine used for the symptomatic treatment of non-productive (dry) cough.
