Description

Minoxidil is an antihypertensive that acts predominantly by causing direct peripheral vasodilatation of the arterioles. When applied topically to the scalp Minoxidil may stimulate hair growth to a limited extent and is used in the treatment of alopecia. Each 1 gm contains 20 mg minoxidil as an active ingredient.
