The HONOR 400 is not the snappiest phone out there, and it’s not meant to be. At its €499 price tag, it’s supposed to be a solid phone with good features, and that’s exactly what it is.

Yes, especially if you’re on a budget and don’t care about losing a telephoto lens. You can go for the 400 Pro if you’re willing to spend a little more to cover that gap, but you’ll be fine here if you can accept the imposed limits.

For such an affordable price, I’m surprised by everything the Honor 400 provides, including a truly mesmerizing display, respectable performance, and a sizeable amount of internal storage.

The Honor 400 is a solid mid-range phone with a stacked spec sheet and tonnes of great features. The cameras are solid, the battery lasts a long time, and it looks and feels premium. It’s not enough of a powerhouse to satisfy keen gamers, but elsewhere the performance is great.
