The Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus doesn't make huge changes compared to its S24 Plus predecessor. The design is refined rather than re-thought, the camera is much the same, and the experience from a software point of view is similar too.

The Samsung Galaxy S25+ offers a nearly identical experience to the Ultra, with leading AI and outstanding performance, in a slightly smaller, stylus-free design for less money.

The S25+’s lack of upgrades makes it feel like a real missed opportunity for Samsung. However, it still offers the best balance of hardware, software and price of any flagship phone right now.

Samsung's "middle" flagship is a solid device, but I wish it had some of the prowess of the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus is an interesting phone. It lacks the flagship appeal of the S25 Ultra with its larger display, S Pen and enhanced camera options, and it lacks the affordability of its smaller S25 sibling. But for many people, this is probably the phone to choose.
