Whether eaten as a healthy fresh snack, a dessert , or simply to add a beautiful touch of elegance to your recipes, both as ingredient and décor, there’s just so many ways to enjoy fresh Organic Strawberries. Slice and add to salads, desserts, yoghurts, cereals, pancakes, tarts, cakes and pastries; blend into a smoothie or shake; coat with melted dark or white chocolate; churn into a festive rich sauce like coulis and more.
You can let Organic Strawberries sit at room temperature in the kitchen if it will be consumed right at the time of purchase. If storing Organic Strawberries for a few days, put them whole and unwashed in a partially-closed container lined with paper towels to absorb any excess moisture, preferably in a single layer so they don't get crushed. Rinsing them speeds up spoiling. They should last up to five to seven days.
Preparation and usage
Remove the stems, caps and white hull, by pinching them off with your fingers or use a paring knife. Organic Strawberries are highly perishable. Do not wash until right before eating or using in a recipe. Do not remove their caps and stems until after having gently washed the berries under cold running water and patted dry. This will prevent them from absorbing excess water, which can degrade strawberries' texture and flavor.
