How to use
cooking GuidelinesMenudo/ Afritada Recipe: Makes 5 servings
30g (1 pouch) Mama Sita's Meat Stew (Menudo/Afritada) Mix Menudo, 250ml (1 cup) water , 30 ml (2 tbsp) cooking oil.
350g (0.77 lb) diced beef
150g (0.33 lb) diced beef liver
70g (1/2 cup) diced potatoes
70g (1/2 cup) diced carrots
80g (2 pcs) diced bell pepper
35g (1/2 cup) raisins
60g (1/3 cup) cooked garbanzos
1/2Kg(1.1 lbs) chicken cut into serving pieces
70g (1/2 cup) cubed potatoes
70g (1/2 cup) cubed carrots.
80g (2 pcs) cubed bell pepper
85g (1/2 cup) green peas
1. In a bowel, dissolve Mama sita's Menudo/Afritada Mix in water.
2. Fry potatoes and carrots in hot oil & set aside. In the same pan, stir - fry meat until golden brown.
3. Pour in dissolved Mama Sit's Menudo/Afritada Mix. Cover & simmer until meat is tender. Add hot water , as needed.
4. Add fried potatoes and carrots, then the rest of the ingredients. Simmer for 2 minutes. Serve hot.
