Gentle Boil: Bring 1 cup of rice(200g) and 6-8 cups of water to boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and boil uncovered on medium heat for 10-12 minutes. Drain well and serve. Covered Pan: Bring 1 cup of rice (200g) and 11/2 cups of water (375ml) to boil, stirring occasionally. lower heat, cover and simmer for 12-14minutes. Remove from heat and let it stand covered for 5-10 minutes. Microwave: Place 1 cup of rice (200g) and 11/2 cups of water (375ml) in microwave container. Cook on medium to high in a microwave for 15 minutes. Let it stand for 5 minutes before serving. Fluff with a fork.
