Cooking Guidelines
Season fish with salt. Fry it in hot oil until crisp & golden. Set aside. In a saucepan, with heated cooking oil, saute ginger, garlic, onions, carrots & bell pepper for 2 minutes. Pour in dissolved Mama Sita's Sweet & Sour Sauce ( Escabeche) Mix into sauteed vegetables. Bring to a boil and simmer for 2 minutes or until sauce thickens. Add fish & simmer for another minute. AS A DIPPING SAUCE In a small saucepan, dissolve 1 pouch (57 g) Mama Sita's Sweet & Sour 1 tbsp (20 g) sliced onion Sauce (Escabeche)Mix in % cup (187.5 mL) pineapple juice or water. Bring to a boil & simmer, stirring constantly for 2 minutes or until sauce thickens.
